Babies and toddlers
Schedule the first visit around the first birthday or within six months of the first tooth. We build a simple routine, check early concerns, and share home-care tips for your child’s teeth.
Early school years
Plan visits every six months for checkups and teeth cleanings. We can place sealants to help protect baby teeth before adult teeth come through and reduce the risk of cavities.
As adult teeth arrive
We monitor alignment as adult teeth erupt and treat cavities on adult teeth when needed. We also guide daily dental care to support long-term oral health.
Late teens
We assess wisdom teeth position. Removal is typically recommended in the late teens to early twenties to avoid potential issues like shifting nearby teeth, and recovery is usually easier at this age than for adults over 30.

What a comfortable and welcoming environment. I was looking for a dentist because I just moved to West Kelowna. I needed a cleaning as I missed my last one because of the move. Debbie at the front seat was funny and cheerful and Sierra (hope I spelled this correctly), the hygienist was gentle and thorough. Sierra didn’t use that ultrasonic cleaner device to clean my teeth, she hand scaled. When I asked her about this she said “ I appreciate the tactile feel of scaling by hand”. So much nicer. I can’t wait to meet the dentist for my appointment in May!

Take it from someone who has always viewed up-coming dental treatments with hesitation and trepidation, knowing I was, for sure, in for pain.
Dr. Sigel and assistant Alana are so patient-oriented that they made my visit painless, informative and a delightful change from any of my experiences with other dentists.
Absolutely no pain at all, and he did a lot of drilling and tooth shaping, like the artist he is. He took out an old filling, cleared an active decay that was underneath that, and then cleaned, cleared and shaped the tooth in anticipation of a full crown. They both clearly explained each of several processes and gave me a clear picture of what was being done.
You gotta use Lakeview Dental. Check in with Debbie up front. She is warm and always smiles. She helps you through the paperwork professionally and patiently.

My husband and I are extremely pleased with Lakeview Dental and would highly them. My husband and I were in search for a Dentist that would take the Canadian Dental Care Plan as our prior Dentist was not accepting it. Not only do they take the plan Lakeview Dental was able to do a root canal for me that my prior dentist had sent me to a root canal specialist who quoted double the price for the root canal. All in all my husband and I are really happy we found Lakeview Dental.
